Adam Porter is a curator of contemporary visual art and is based in Western Sydney. Adam's practice has focused largely on Australia and the Asia Pacific region with particular interest in South Asia, Southeast Asia and West Asia.

Adam has driven artistic vision and strategy for the cultural sector in Australia, conducting public art installations and large-scale contemporary art exhibitions featuring multidisciplinary practice, innovative curatorial models and community and cultural engagement practice. His curatorial examinations have centred around the semiotics and aesthetics of ruins, destruction and degradation as conveyance for cultural memory. 

This site is place for reflection - a platform to record observations, criticisms and appreciations. This site is an expression of Adam's ongoing battles with ideas and an opportunity to document and develop a doting relationship with contemporary arts, culture and society.

Adam lives and works on Dharawal land and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
